Our recently filed class actions:
Francis X. Kitchner, Jr. et al. vs. General
Electric
Case No. : 2:06-CV-553-FtM-29
U.S. District Court: Middle District of Florida, Ft. Meyers
Division
This lawsuit seeks class action status and alleges
defective dampers in certain side-by-side General Electric
refrigerators. The suit alleges that the damper failures
can cause freezing in the fresh food section of the
refrigerator causing fresh food to freeze, intermittent or
no water dispensing and can result in the water filter
cracking, which in turn can lead to flooding and property
damage.
Paula Rush et al. vs. Whirlpool
Corporation
Case No: 07-2006
U.S. District Court: Western District of Arkansas, Fort
Smith Division
A lawsuit seeking class action status has been filed
against Whirlpool Corporation asserting certain claims in
connection with alleged defective refrigerators. The suit
alleges that the refrigerators contain defective ice makers
and that the temperature controls fluctuate which leads to
flooding and property damage of homes. The suite makes
claims on behalf of all persons in the United States who
purchased a side-by-side refrigerator manufactured by
Whirlpool since 2000 and sold under the Whirlpool, Kitchen
Aid and Roper brand names.
Experience Matters
If my firm takes your case, you can rest assured that
it will be aggressively pursued through trial, if
necessary. I only accept cases that I personally believe to
be meritorious. The majority of the cases I handle involve
very serious claims related to personal injury and wrongful
death. In many cases, the passage of time can allow
valuable evidence to disappear, and in such cases, it is
critical that evidence be gathered quickly. Do not hesitate
to give me a call to discuss your case without
obligation.
